The Story of The Petal Patisserie
Prior to founding The Petal Patisserie, Caroline worked as a full-time Mechanical Engineer and had been growing flowers on the side as a fun hobby. It was a way for her to fuel her love of designing floral arrangements without breaking the bank.
Her love of flowers all started after she DIYed her own wedding flowers. It was many hours of prepping, cleaning, and arranging the stems, but overall a very rewarding process! Working with these gorgeous blooms, she found there were so many more varieties out there than what the stores had to offer. So, she began growing - dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias, and even some varieties she had never heard of before, like hellebores.
Now, she is excited to grow and share all these varieties with you too! Check out The Petal Patisserie shop to see what is available for purchase.

Flowers We Grow

WHY BUY AMERICAN GROWN?
Higher quality, Longer lasting, Eco-Friendly, and More Varieties to offer!
We believe that supporting the local flower growers is important. These small farms are typically much more bio-diverse and eco-friendly than the large flower growers that import their stems to the US.
Many smaller flower farms practice sustainable farming techniques, such as "no till" which improves soil quality, reduced or eliminated pesticides/insecticides, crop rotation, inter-planting, and much more...including our small farm.
In addition to the benefits that these techniques have on our environment, they also often produce higher quality flowers. Happier soil and plants = larger blooms and longer vase life. These local flower farmers are able to produce gorgeous flowers of a wider variety than any grocer or wholesaler can offer, and we love to incorporate all of these into our arrangements, so you can enjoy these unique flowers too!
